Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Office Update

From the Office of the Principal:

Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of SWS;

This month we will be celebrating Catholic School Week with more than 5,000 other Catholic schools. The theme, “United in Faith and Community,” encompasses the core values that can be found in our school and in Catholic schools across the country. Not only are we teaching students to become future servant leaders, faith-filled disciples, and enriched citizens in our community, but our educators and staff are growing as well. We are all learners, servants, and leaders. These shared qualities are what make Catholic schools successful and work. Our educational system is one where each person is part of our community as we grow in our faith together.

We look forward to sharing more about our school with our parish community as our special week draws closer, with potential school families in our upcoming open houses and activities, and within our school family as we celebrate and enjoy each other in prayer activities, fun days, and special moments in our school life.

Kim Doyle, Principal

Psalm 86:11

Pancake Breakfast helpers are needed
To kick off the week of celebration for Catholic schools, we hold a pancake breakfast in our cafeteria for all school families and parish members.

Plan to attend with your family on Sunday, January 28 – 8:00-12:00.

We need a few pancake makers, coffee servers, and table cleaners.

Please email Kim if you can be added to the list.
Students in grades 5-8 can earn service hours – but we especially need adults to do the main jobs.

This event is sponsored by our local Knights of Columbus.
