Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Office Update
From the Office of Principal:
Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of SWS;
One great thing that you can do to help your children know God is to send them to a Catholic School. I am so proud of our staff and our students this year. We have had many amazing prayerful experiences where we have spent time with God, have worked hard on learning and practicing how to be faithfilled and virtuous people, and have learned how to think about the next person/stranger/others in the world who need us.
Our school is focused on our mission first and foremost in providing an education where the entire school community works toward one common goal of enlightening and enriching the hearts and souls of each other so that we can know God more. We are a Christ-centered family. When we have this part moving then the other parts follow.
Please continue to pray for the health and strength of St. Wenceslaus Catholic School. We do make a difference in our community and world. Our school is needed for those of us who choose to be here and believe and for others whom we affect along the way.

Post uniforms the are too small or ones your kids never wear. Others might be able to use it for their kids.
Keep this link and site going all summer long.
Facebook – SWS Uniform Exchange
https://www.facebook.com/groups/237192437844409
Do Not bring bags of uniforms to school. We no longer host an exchange night as we have no place to store them. The uniform site was successful last year. We will try for one more year.
Be sure to post the sizes you are giving or the sizes you need to connect up with other parents.
No uniforms for the last week of school May 23-26.
Students need school appropriate clothing.
Shorts and t-shirts are fine as long as they are not too short and the t-shirts have appropriate sayings as defined by staff members.
Closed toe/closed heel shoes are required for grades K-6.
Retirements at SWS
1. Mike Tschimperle will be retiring from teaching after being at St. Wenceslaus for the past 37 years. We are so grateful for the dedication and service Mike has given to our school.
2. Mary Wick is retiring as our Food Service Director/Head Cook. She has been at SWS for 16 years. We will miss her and her willingness to jump in where and when needed with a delicious lunch, dinner, or treat for kids and staff.
3. Betty Jirak will be retiring at the end of the summer. Betty is a preschool aide who has been at our school for 3 years but has worked her entire life in other locations.
4. Anne Conway has been a teacher during her career in several schools. She is the current preschool teacher of our 3/4 program for this past year.
Happy Retirement!
