Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Office Update
From the Office of Principal:
Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of SWS,
The next few weeks we wait with patience and anticipation. It is the advent season. We recall the stories of the old testament from our bible and learn about our ancestors, the family of Jesse, waiting for the Savior to arrive. The new testament gospels of our bible tell us the wonderful story of the birth of Jesus which further demonstrates the anticipation for the Christ Child.
We get so excited to celebrate each season with the children at school. This year for Advent, the students and teachers will be having daily prayer services around a classroom Advent wreath. Students will be decorating some of our Christmas trees with prayers. All of the students will design a nativity scene. The students in grades 2-8 wil have a reconcilation/confession opportunity. We will have a special school Mass for the Immaculate Conceptions Feast Day. So much to anticipate!

Baby Jesus is missing! Last year when our manger was set out, we noticed that someone took our Baby Jesus. Our hope is that a little child has taken care of Jesus all year long. If you find him in your home, please send Jesus back to school. We will greet this with a smile as it is such a classic situtation – one that you might find in a Christmas movie! We will put Jesus back in our manger.
