Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Office Update
From the Office of Principal:
Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of SWS,
Well, the first week of our online distance learning went relatively well. I am so proud of our teachers who were able to jump right into the alternative learning process. I could not be more pleased with the parents of our school community who are showing such great strength and gratitude. I have not be able to see any of our children, but I know that the teachers have been in touch with them through a number of resources and have reported happy children thus far.
Our staff has had numerous face to face online conferences using our technology. It is unusual to have meetings while we are eating our breakfast, but this is our new way. Our staff will continue to plan together and to meet as often as we need to but certainly on our regular weekly times. These meetings will produce changes and adjustments to what we thought would work and not work while we continue to make our programs better.
I think it is safe to say that none of us love this arrangement but there is no other choice as we fight for our lives and the lives of others in our community. But even with that, there have been many demonstrations of love, kindness and generosity. Please keep praying for God’s blessings for all of our school families, stff, supporters, and friends. Please pray for our school too as we go through this time of change and uncertainty.
Please join us for our online Starry Night in Italy Event.
