Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Office Update

From the Office of the Principal:

Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of SWS;

Happy Spring! A fresh renewal of our lives takes place in spring in so many ways.  This is especially true in our region of the country where we go from the cold and snow to the buds of flowers and new grass. Spring is a refresh for our homes and our neighborhoods. It is also refreshing to put the winter clothing away as we enjoy the warmth of the springtime sunshine. We look forward to our time ahead as we get out of our homes and enjoy so many outdoor activities.

Our upcoming Easter season is also refreshing. We put aside the dark days and look to the resurrection. This gives us hope and a fresh renewal for our lifes. We look to Christ’s promise to bring us new life through his passion and death. Our lenten days are moving us into the springtime of our spiritual lives.

Blessings and peace for our springtime days,

Kim Doyle
Principal

For the Love of Family

This week’s challenge:

Pray now, pray with the thought at the moment it enters your mind. Don’t wait. When you tell someone you will pray for them, do it right then. Show someone you care deeply by offering a prayer for them and do it with urgency to make sure your prayer happens.

Thank You, Starry Night Volunteers

Our school parents are appreciated for joining forces to ensure that our Starry Night is successful. For everyone who stepped in to donate an item, beverage, cash, or other, we are thankful. For those of you who answered the call to come help, we truly appreciate your time and energy in doing so many jobs..

We are sure the night will be great and will bring in the needed funds for our school budget.

We have one more ask of you. If you are available on Sunday morning, we could definitely use many bodies to help clean up. Students who need service hours are also welcome to come to help out with the clean up process.  Please come help on Sunday morning at 9:00 am.
