Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Office Update
From the Office of the Principal:
Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of SWS;
This is so important! Our school’s biggest and most significant source of income (besides tuition) comes from our fundraising events. The Starry Night is slated to raise $150,000 (gross). This money goes directly to support the current school budget. If we took this one away or if it failed, then that dollar amount would be passed on to the school families in the form of tuition increases.
We are so thankful for our supporters, donors, school families, parish members, alumni, and even those less connected with SWS who are friends of others or even strangers getting to know us for the first time. We are also very thankful to our core leadership team for this event who have worked endless hours to plan. Many people will be joining in during the next few days to help out as volunteers. Thank you all. We couldn’t have this event without you. Now let’s make it the best ever and continue to join forces as a school community to make sure it is successful.
We are only a few days away from the Starry Night 2023. Let’s make it great! Our beautiful school is worth keep strong. Catholic education is a precious way to educate in faith while also in academics. Our society needs this now more than ever.
“Souls on fire for God!”
Kim Doyle
Principal

For the Love of Family
This week’s challenge:
Ask family members to each find something at home that needs to be mended. Encourage them to talk about why the items need repair. Then challenge each person to think about a relationship they need to mend and why they need to mend it. Challenge them to go to that person during the week and offer forgiveness, an apology, or whatever’s needed to bring peace to that relationship.
Pot-o-Gold raffle for $20,000 prize.
Each family was given one $100 ticket
Drawing on June 9.
We have 650 to sell in total. We need people to try selling more to meet our goal.
Call or stop in at the school office.
Virtus Account Set-up
To volunteer in school, each person must complete the Virtus Child Safety Program.
