Weekly Office News – October 10, 2022

Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Office Update

From the Office of Principal:

Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of SWS;

October bring us so many school activities to keep track of. Our school news this week is jam-packed with links to other information, with things to sign up to join, and with events to attend.  It is important to keep up with all that takes place. This weekly newsletter contains the details of the over-all school calendar. Be sure to browse through it each week for the events that apply to you. Classroom teachers will post a scaled down version of important events as well on their classroom pages and through email.

You can alway search back at the weekly news on our school website. Just go to “current families” then to “weekly office news” where you will find current and past versions of the news. Many of our articles have links that will get lost but this is one way to always search back to the important things you will need to know about the happenings in school and stay “in the know”.

Souls on Fire for Christ in many ways!

Peace of Mind Virtual Seminars with Dr. Julene Nolan

Dr. Jules Nolan hosts monthly webinars for our Catholic school parents throughout the academic year. The webinar recordings will be available for 30 days after the sessions.

PARENT SESSION

“Psychological Wellness Begins at Home” — October 11, 7:00 p.m.

Our children are more stressed and anxious than any time in modern history. How we parent and manage emotions at home can protect our children and bolster their emotional resilience, or it can hinder development and make things worse. This session will focus on parenting strategies that promote healthy psychological development. The influences of technology, pressures of modern life, and common parenting mistakes will be discussed. Parents will leave with concrete strategies to help their children thrive.
