Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Weekly Office Update
Advent 2024
Today starts the season of Advent, a time of anticipation and preparation for the birth of Jesus. As a way to learn about Advent we will be meeting in our family groups to create a Jesse tree to place on our classroom doors. Ornaments will be added to the trees each day that coincide with our daily prayer.
The Parent Association is excited to offer you our Christmas Angel Program option for staff members at SWS again. The Parent Association will fill out cards for each staff member and money collected for each staff member will be presented to him/her in cash the week of December 16. Your family name (not amount given) will be included on the staff member(s) card you give to. Christmas Angel sheets are being sent home the week of Dec. 2. Please return to school by Dec. 12.
Pray, hope, and don't worry. ~St. Padre Pio
Back for all your children’s shopping enjoyment – Santa’s Shop will be here December 12 and 13! Classroom teachers have signed up for times to bring their students shopping where Parent Association members will be helping bag and label gifts. Students have a large selection of gifts ranging from .50 to $15 for those you’d like them to shop for. This is a small fundraiser for the Parent Association, but gifts are very reasonable priced. Santa Shop envelopes to send money in will be sent home the week of Dec. 2. Please return to school by Dec. 12.
