Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Office Update
From the Office of Principal:
Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of SWS;
We are now seeking help from everyone in our school community. Spread the word about SWS for enrollment in the future. We are starting to think about how things look next fall, school year 2022-2023! Yup, we are thinking ahead!
We have had a nice increase in our enrollment in the last two years. We treasure all of our solid returning families who have built the school to what it is and all of our new families.
We welcome families who are faith-filled people involved in both the Catholic Church of St. Wenceslaus, other Catholic churches in the area, and numerous Christain-based church communities. This year we have approximately 70% Catholic, 15% belonging to another faith congregation, and 15% uncommitted to a certain parish. We hope you all find your home here at SWS.
There is a wonderful energy in the school with the mix of returning and new parents and all of their children. Our staff is excellent as a group with a great mix of experienced and new teachers. We hope to keep this momentum going into the future.
Share your experience of SWS with friends, neighbors and family. And if there is anything that SWS can do to help make your experience better, please reach out to us.

Farewell and Best Wishes Dear Lisa!
We say good-bye to Lisa Leverson, one of our parish staff members. Lisa first became involved with St. Wenceslaus when her children were enrolled in our school. She served on many committees, including doing lots of work on the school Starry Night event when it first began. Later, she was hired to be an administrative assistant in the parish office and has been a steady support for the school and giving detail to the workings of the parish. Lisa will be moving with her husband out of State in a few days!
We are so thankful for having met her, worked with her, and shared many moments with her. She will be greatly missed.
Good Luck Lisa, on your new adventure!
Dress code issues with girls
1. Hair color needs to be natural color – no hair dye with colors of the rainbow. (No dye for special days – such as spirit days, Halloween, or crazy days)
2. Girls can wear jumpers – school plaid or navy blue- official style with polo underneath, waistband and pleated skirt.
Other approved items: skirt, skort, shorts, long pants – all in official uniform style – waistband, zipper, cotton twill, – navy or plaid.
3. Make-up is appropriate as girls get older but not in the elementary grade levels (K-6).
4. All skirts, skorts, and jumpers need to be at the mid-thigh level or longer – we are seeing some that are too short.
5. Leggings can be worn under other uniform pieces – not as a stand-alone replacement for pants. (red, white, navy blue)
Dress Code Issues with boys
1. Socks must be white, navy blue or black only – plain
