Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Office Update
From the Office of the Principal:
Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of SWS:
The time is upon us for our new school year to begin. I am so excited and pleased with the staff that we have with us this year in the school. It took us many days to find our new people and many prayers to secure them into their roles. What a challenge. I am so thankful that God provided just the right people for the jobs here at SWS. Last week we held our staff meetings, and all of us quickly realized that our new crew are winners! Our returning staff members are like the golden treasure of this amazing ship. They are rich and colorful in their ways and keep our school solid, stable, and filled with beautiful jewels to share with our new staff members and your children. Together, our new and returning staff will no doubt be an amazing, knowledgeable, and hard-working group.
Tomorrow is our first day of school for our K-8 students. We ask God to guide us, to watch over us, and to bless us abundantly in our journey for 2023-2024.
Kim Doyle, Principal
Psalm 86:11
Teach me your ways, O LORD, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart so that I may honor you.

You can also park your car in the back tier of the parking lot. Get out of your car and walk to the crossing path to help cross your child in the am or to meet your child after school.

Breakfast Times
8:00 – Grades 3-4-5
8:20 – Grades 6-7-8
8:40 – Grades K-1-2
K-8 will have breakfast time for 15 minutes each day. (This eliminates snacks from home/snack time in classrooms)
Each student must take three items, with one of them being a fruit.
Sample: Banana, Cereal, Milk
Your child can have the FREE breakfast if they take three items.
If they only want one item – then you would need to pay $.50 per item.
So… Three things are free or pay for one/two items. This is the State requirement for us to offer free breakfast and lunch.
Please encourage your kids to take all three items. (Even if they put the item in their bag to take home or eat later)
More than 3 items will cost $.50 per item.
Lunch
Lunches will be served as usual, but this year there will be no fee for the basic school lunch.
Students can order an extra carton of milk for $.50
Students can order a double entree for an added $1.50
You can put money into your family lunch account to cover any added expenses.
Lunch Applications (Formerly known as the old free/reduced lunch application)
Please look at the chart below. If your family fits into the income levels – then please apply using the attached form called “Lunch Application.”
This application brings lots of benefits to the entire school.
