Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Office Update
From the Office of the Principal:
Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of SWS;
Who are your favorite saints? I know that I have a group that I appreciate and I call them my friends in heaven. Each saint has a special story and significant things that happened to them or because of them. I find their stories interesting and inspiring.
In a recent encounter that I had with some people, they were accusing Catholics of worshiping false gods because we prayed for the intercession of the saints and angels in our lives. Do we not all ask our loved ones to watch out for us when they reach heaven? In my opinion, it is worth having a team of helpers in heaven, whether they are saints, angels. or family members.
Let’s all call upon our favorite saints and bring many favors and blessings upon our parish, our school and our families.
Kim Doyle, Principal
From the prayer of St. David…
Psalm 86:11
Teach me your ways, O LORD, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart so that I may honor you.
Pizza, Packet, and a Prize – for the PreK Students
If you have a Pre-kindergarten student, we will serve you dinner on Monday, November 27.
A staff member will show up to your home between 5:00-6:00 PM with a pizza made by our kitchen staff.
You will also get registration forms for the kindergarten class of fall 2024. We ask you to consider enrolling in our kindergarten program. Turn your forms in by December 6, and we will waive the registration fee for you.
Your child will get a prize!
Those unable to be home at that time should place a large cooler on your front steps and we will place your pizza in there.

Santa Secret Shop
Our School Parent Association will be offering the Santa Secret Shop for the students in preschool to grade 8. This will occur on Thursday, Dec. 7 and Friday, Dec. 8.
The shop is a place for kids to get gifts for family. They get to pick it out, and the volunteers will wrap and tag the gifts so they are ready to be placed under your Christmas tree.
More information will be coming soon about how to send the money in so that your child can shop.

We need a ref to play. Open to high school or college students, parents, grandparents, or any relative/neighbor. You do not need to be a professional. Our games are simple and are learning experiences for our players.
