Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Weekly Office Update

From the Office of Principal

Snow, snow, snow! There is not much on the ground but we will certainly have lots of snow themed games at our annual Snowman Celebration this week.  This event includes more than fun. We are developing leadership skills in our 5th and 6th graders who are working hard to create the games. We are using our STEM skills as the students work in teams to collaborate their ideas and try to find solutions to their problems. The end result is to have a fantastic party for as many little kids as we can.

Tuition Grants for 2018-19 School Year

There are many opportunities to help our families offset the costs associated with a non-public school such as SWS.

The application is now open in TADS. (  Fill out the forms and be sure to check the scholarship buttons.  The application closes on February 17. See attachment!
The Schulze Early Learning Scholarship is open to students entering the 4/5-year-old preK class next fall making them one year away from entering kindergarten.  See Attachment!
Please pass these fliers on to any family who might benefit from a little extra cash for the next school year 2019!

Registration time
Pass the word to families you may know with children. We will soon be accepting registrations for all grade levels.  Preschool registration begins this week. We have many new preschool options for young families including full day programs and the traditional preschool half days.  We need your help to spread the word because YOU ARE OUR BEST FORM OF ADVERTISING!

  • Invite a new family to come for a tour.
Join them for the tour so they feel more welcome.
Encourage them to talk with the principal about tuition options and to not be afraid of the financial expectations.
Pray with them that they make the right decision for their child.
Send them the information about the upcoming open house opportunities.
Do whatever you can to inform them about the school.
