Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Office Update

From the Office of Principal:

Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of SWS;

We have so much to look forward to in the weeks ahead.  We will celebrate for an entire week for Catholic Schools Week beginning on January 30.  This celebration takes place each year throughout the country with thousands of Catholic School students, parents, and staff members.

There are 5981 Catholic Schools similar to our school in the USA. We are all different but share the same goal to teach academics while also teaching our faith beliefs and practices to our students. Catholic Schools are not just schools, we are a way of life. God is incorporated so deeply into our existence and into every decision that we make for the growth, health and well being of all who connect with us.  All of our work is intentional for growing in the Glory of God. How cool is that? A reason to celebrate!

A few more basket items are needed for Starry Night Class Baskets

If you did not get a chance to donate yet – here is what we need. Cash is great to as our committee can do the shopping.

Insta pics basket: we have lots of film and fun accessories but no Camera.

NP gift cards and Trojan gear (we have water bottles, 2 hats, a coffee mug and a blanket)

Fidgets and slime are low. Need more.

Yeti and slime are super low

Gift wrapping Is a little low, we could use a variety of gift bags if anything.

Cash is preferred.

Starry Night 2022

What is it?
The Starry Night is a fun adult only casual evening. Yes – it is a fundraiser to benefit the school, but it is so much fun! We have great food, fun drinks, and entertainment too.

Who attends?
School parents, friends of school parents, grandparents, parishioners, supporters, and lots of people from the community. Young people over 21 and beyond! (18 yr olds may attend with parents) Established people who attend annually and those who have never been to an event like this. All are welcome.

Assigned seating with friends or with people you might become friends with help you feel comfortable.

Think now!
Get your babysitter lined up 5:00-10:00 PM.

What we still need:
1. Silent auction donations
2. Tickets/admissions to places such as sporting events, theaters, waterparks, hotels stays, and if you are willing to give us a trip.
3. Event sponsors.

Catholic Schools Week – Faith, Excellence, and Service

We are so excited for all of the activities to come during this fun week. Watch for a separate flyer to come to you soon.

Don’t forget to do your family poster!
This was a sheet sent home to you last week. You are to paste a family photo, color the sheet and write a few words. You should have the instructions. Trun these in as soon as they are done. We hang them on the family display walk for the week.
