Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Office Update

From the Office of Principal:

Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of SWS;

This time of year gets very busy around school. We are serious about the registration of students for next fall and we host several events for that purpose. It always seems so early to work on registration in January, but we need to lock in the future of next fall.  Having families make a commitment to enroll at this time helps our school plan for budgeting, staffing, space, and supplies that we will need to move forward.

Please, if you know a family who might be a good fit for our school or one that is just starting out with preschool /kindergarten enrollment, please share information about our school with them. The upcoming events help new families learn more, but tours of our school are welcome at any time as well.

Picture retake day is this week

Our photographer will be at school this week to take the class photo of any child who was missing on the first picture day.  This will take place on Wednesday, January 12 after our school Mass. (approximately at 9:00 am)

Please send your picture packet with your student. (Tuesday/Thursday preschool kids will need to be brought in if they have not had their picture taken)

If you are requesting a retake of the original picture, you must return the original to the photographer. You may only get a retake is there is a flaw that was a mistake of the photographer.

Class baskets – THANK YOU!
Thanks to everyone who donated an item for the class baskets. We will now put some really great themed baskets together for our Starry Night Event.

Now for the next step………..
1. We need other items to have on our silent auction tables
2. We are looking for tickets/admissions to places such as sporting events, theaters, waterparks, hotels stays, and if you are willing to give us a trip.
3. Become an event sponsor.
4. Start to think about coming to the event on March 26 – get your babysitter lined up 5:00-10:00 PM.

Here is a link to donate or to register.

Sweepstakes Tickets

Drawing takes place on February 2. Please return ticket stubs as soon as they are sold.

Unsold tickets get charged to your tuition account since this is one of our required fundraisers so you might as well take your chances to win as cash prize.

We have only 650 tickets ($100 each).
Great odds of winning!

Do you know anyone who mght like this chance?
