Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Weekly Office Update

From the Office of Principal
Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Supporters of SWS,

One of our schools goals is “To become a more prayerful school”. This means that we look for opportunities for our students and staff members to call on God.  We have our daily religion lessons, our weekly Masses, and a variety of rituals, traditions, and first time plans for our school to seek wisdom and guidance by the acts of Faith, Love and Service.

Our children have the answers in their hearts. This is because they have the souls and minds that are open, trusting, and forgiving because they are children and they don’t know any different. They are able to fully immerse themselves, they believe, they have hope, they can forgive and move on. They are humble. When Jesus said, “Bless the Little Children,” he surely gave us a directive to be like them, the children.

At SWS we have the best combination of people: we have teachers who will teach the children and we have children who will teach the teachers.  Add the commitment/dedication and prayers of school parents and our school becomes more holy day by day! Together we form one amazing and dynamic faith community who grows and moves together in ways that surely make God smile!

Rollerskating Party – Rescheduled
The event from Catholic Schools Week has been rescheduled. We will go on Tuesday, March 5. The students in K-8 will take the bus. All parents are welcome but must drive to Skateville in Burnsville.  No Uniforms this day – Wear your Sports T-shirts and Jerseys.

Registration Forms are due March 15 for 2019-2020

It is critical that we get our classroom numbers settled by this date for next fall. We ask that everyone submit their registration forms as early as possible this year. We really appreciate your cooperation on this task. You are amazing school parents for complying with all of our deadlines and procedures. Thank you so very much!

4HG – For His Glory Basketball

The Catholic School Center of Excellence along with professional NFL player, Matt Birk, presents a wonderful opportunity of all boys and girls in grades 4-8. Matt offers a basketball clinic that brings to light the focus of God and our faith in playing sports.

The clinic is free to Grades 4-8 students but they will need to sign up.

Kelly has run over 30 of these clinics and the feedback has been outstanding.
