Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Office Update

From the Office of Principal:

Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of SWS;

I often hear statements at the school such as, “Let me know how I can help”. This is the time of the year when we definitely need people to step forward physically, spiritually, and financially to help us. There are many opportunities listed in this letter to volunteer, attend and donate.  Please join in and become a bigger part of our school life and success.

Most importantly, please remember to pray for the school. Please help us continue our very important work in our Catholic school. This is both a personal and communial way to make a huge difference in the lives of many.

A special thanks to all who support us in one or all of these ways and to all the folks from the past who have made this school amazing through physical, spiritual, and financial support.

Kim Doyle, Principal

Peace of Mind Session with Dr. Julene Nolan

Stress, Anxiety, Perfectionism, and Motivation

Stress and Anxiety are more prevalent now in the lives of school-aged children than ever before. How does perfectionism play into our child’s stress and anxiety? How can we teach motivation without feeding perfectionism? This session will address behavioral and biological factors that influence the development of anxiety and perfectionistic tendencies. You will leave with concrete, parenting strategies to combat stress, anxiety, and perfectionism, and learn how to foster self-motivation in our children.
