Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Weekly Office Update

From the Office of Principal

Join us this week for our school Christmas Concert. This is a fun time to see and hear the school in action. The students are so excited to perform for you.  Each class will sing a small piece that has been put together into one grand show.  So this is your time to sit back, relax, and just take it all in. Enjoy to the show!

A few reminders about SWS concert courtesy. The first 3 rows on both sides in the center are reserved for the families who purchased these at the last Starry Night Auction Event so don’t get upset if they come later than you and get a better seat. We do not allow people to save benches with coats and personal items.  Guests may come early and sit on a bench to save it for the rest of your family, but you must be present to save it.  If you are only using 1/2 of your bench, please invite the next family up into your bench so that we can get as many people to the front as possible.

The students will be dropped off and picked up in the classrooms only. Drop students off at 6:00 PM in the student classroom. The front door of the school will be open. After the show, the students will leave with their teachers and will be waiting for you in their classrooms.

Cameras and videos are allowed, however, do not stand or set up a camera in the aisles. Also, do not stretch your camera up in the air so that it obstructs the people in the back of you from viewing. The school will be making a program video that you can get for a minimal cost or $5. Another suggestion would be to attend the concert for the afternoon 1:00 show. There are fewer guests and you can move around on the sides more easily to capture a picture of your child. Our church is a wonderful place to sing but most people do not get very good pictures because of the large space and lighting.

Please keep in mind that SWS has about 100 families to attend to all of the events. We really need everyone to step up to help if you can on this committee or on another one.
