Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School Weekly Office Update

From the Office of Principal
Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Friends of SWS,

This week our 8th graders will display the Stations of the Cross. All families are welcome to join our school community as we pray together, remembering the journey that Christ was on leading to His death. His journey has become our journey towards God, making eternal life possible even in the face of an earthly death.

The living Stations of the Cross will take place in the Church on Wednesday at 1:30 PM. This is an 8th grade tradition and a wonderful opportunity offered at our school to pray.

Big Bang STEM Fair
Congratulations to SWS 5th grader, Bennett Gjerde for taking 2nd place among 180 STEM Fair exhibits.
SWS sent 5 teams to compete.

Encourage your children in grades 3-8 for next year. Using the engineering design process, they should invent! Try, try, try again, and again. Have them keep notes in a notebook and record results of failures as well as successes. Take pictures of everything they do. They might get a chance to enter their invention in next year’s competition.

Other SWS participants were: Annie McBroom, Payton Pumper, Julianna Knettel, Issac Pumper, Marty McBroom, Jessica Tobias, and Leah King.  They all did awesome!

The Schulze Early Learning Scholarship is open to students entering the 4/5-year-old preK class next fall making them one year away from entering kindergarten.
